I love my machine and haven't had a mechanical problem with it yet with 1300km on (roughly 800 miles). Only issue I've had with mine was stalling when coming to a stop with a heavy load (no biggie, just turn it back on) and the rear left fender getting chaffed by the footboard. Polaris supplied me with a new set of rear fenders, which I will put on if/when I need to. The Fuji 500 in the polaris bikes is a bullet proof motor. The rest of the machine, if you take care of it, will last just as long as the engine. Stuff breaks when it's used hard. Do maintenance regularly and you will often spot parts which are about to pop.
