Well here is the deal. I am going to sell my motorcycle to buy three 4 wheelers..
My son will have a 90CC not sure which brand yet. Probably a Honda trx or the Yamaha
My wife wants a Utility.. So she will be getting This Honda
I am looking at 3 right now bue need to narrow it down.. I am looking at the Honda TRX-450 The polaris Outlaw 500 and the Polaris predator..
Can anyone give me the pros and cons of all 3.. How quick is the predator and outlaw compared to the Honda?
Any down side to the rear supension on the outlaw?
I have ridden before just not much or very hard. so the Racing quads are new to me..

Well by the time I sell it and some extra parts off of it that are not going with the bike I will have about $7,000 after paying the bike off Mine and the wifes will cost just over 10K out the door........
then my sons will run 1500-2500 depending on what I get him. so I wil have to finance 5K or so.......

You sure about the Foreman for the wife???? It is basically a WORK quad. Sure it can do some trail, but it is primarily a pure ute (they didn't try to make it sporty).
A much better choice would be the Honda Rancher 420 for her! It is one superb little machine, and going to be way more fun than the Foreman....
All I can say is that I love the 450R! It likes to run fast in open country, so I don't pick it when I go trail riding. I use the 400EX for that, and if it gets more technical, the Rancher.
The Honda 90 is the best of the kids quads! I still have fun ripping around on ours. My kids have outgrown it, but I keep it around for guests kids to ride.
Could you be specific about your riding conditions??? That would help!

Not to start any more wars, this goes on a lot. I will tread as lightly as possible so as not to really tick someone off.
Polaris used to be the top dog, however they are certainly having their share of troubles. Several reliability issues. Check some forums before your final decision.
Honda's are not rated very high from both the ATV riders and also the reviews. They are a pretty good work horse but buyers want more and there are machines that can deliver both.
For the wife - personally I would check out the Suzuki line up - The Eiger, Vinson, and 450 King Quad.
For you - if you want a sport bike then I can't help with any suggestions if you want a good Utility with some sport, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, for an 'Off-road' articulate machine then Arctic Cat.
Some of the most reliable are the Suzuki and AC.
All the brands will get the job done and you can have fun with all of them, it is just that some do some things better than others and some are more reliable than others. There is really no one machine that can do it all and be tops in everything. Decide what type of riding and what type of terrain and then go from there. Decide what you want your machines to do and there is one out there that will come closest to meeting your expectations.
I ride an AC for my reasons maybe they are similar to yours maybe they are not. I do woods - off-road, tackle the unknown that is ahead of me on the trail. So I want a machine that can get over and through about anything and any kind of turf. I am not into going 70mph or strickly playing in the mud or using my ATV as a submarine or running up and down the street doing wheelies.. But what is in front of me I will go over, around or thru'... So I want is a very articulate 'jack of all trades' type of machine, that is very reliable and not leave me walking 10 miles out of the woods. Not fun, especially when the bears and wolves are hungry... lol...
