Default IRS vs. solid axle for beginner

honda makes Atv's? I thought they were just dirt hazards on the trails. my wife has an ozark and its true its a tad stiff over the ruts and rocks and tree roots, it gives u a good workout at the end of the day and will go anywhere the bigger quads will venture, even without 4 wheel drive. . its funny i have more fun on that leaving the big bores in the tight stuff than fighting with them on mine! if she really wants true confort on the trails id look at the grizzly 450 with efi and irs. i sat on it and it feels small to me consider that mine feels perfect in size. I'm 6 feet 2 so she might be right at home on that machine. don't get a rancher unless u want her to complain the bottom hits everything she drives over with its sport quad ground clearance!

Always preferred and owned SRA. The IRS quads I have ridden do not power slide as easily or as safely! They also feel tippy where a SRA would feel fairly stable. The only downside is that I have to stand up a lot going over the rough stuff.

There are sport quads busting out 50' of air and landing like they are on pillows, and they have only one shock in the rear. Where do you get this need for two shocks thing????
!</end quote></div>
Most of the quads doing that do not have the stock shock on the back or front for that matter the have more in them shock than the cost of the bike new
