grizzly vs. foreman???

if you can spring for a little more $$, i would get the grizz 700 with power sterring - truely amazing machine. but if these are the 2 choices, i would get the foreman - believe the 660 was a little tipsy.

how much is the price difference on the foreman and the grizzly 700? i want to spend no more than $6500 out-the-door. I have also heard that the powersteering is giving alot of trouble?

I have not heard (or read) of a single issue with the Grizzly 700 (or Honda Foreman) power steering feature yet. The 660 is a nice machine (I have an '02 that I bought in July of 01 and it's still with me) but the 700 is much nicer.
The Foremans are a good machine but will give you a rougher ride than the Grizzly 660 or 700. I've heard of Grizzly 700 (with EPS) deals with out the door prices below $6800. The 700 Grizzly is a more refined package / nicer machine than the 660 and the power steering (EPS) is a "must have" option in my opinion. You would be better off delaying your purchase so you can save up for the difference in price between the 660 and the 700 so you can go with the 700.
The Foreman has a solid rear axle while the Grizzly has IRS. The IRS machine will feel more "tipsy" and will roll more during cornering but once you get used to the feel of it and learn how to ride it, you will be surprized as to what you can do with the machine...

The Foreman comes dead last against in this 500 Utility comparison and even behind the 450 Grizzly can you imagine how bad a 660 would out perform it.Foreman in Utility shootout.
The the 660 Grizzly is just in a different league than the 500 Foreman.
The 500 Rubicon does no better.
