used of course u can get a 400ex around a 00-04 for a pretty good deal same on the raptor u aint gunaa get away with a new quad for less then 5000 unless you get something like a 250 which you dont want to do

 

yea u can find a decent used raptor or 400ex, ltz 400, kfx, all for around 2500$

 

If that's a chinese one you would be way better off buying a used jap. one ( honda, kaw., suzuki ) and since it's your first one I would get a honda 400ex it was my first one and I could not be happier with it. Seems like alot of people have regretted buying chinese, just trying to save you some heartache. And for your size I think you would outride the one you want pretty quick. And if you want a sport bike don't get an auto get a chain driven manual clutch, much more fun when you get the hang of things.
