Im looking to buy a new atv , but i am not sure what to get. I mainly ride all flat surfaces, not relly any trails, and climb coal hills. i currently have a 400ex. i was looking at a banshee, 700 raptor and 450r. What do you suggest? and does anyone know the top speeds of these. thanks

i whould recomend getting eather the 450r or the raptor 700. i whould not recomend the banshee. the raptor 700 is a great all around ride. lower maintance than the 450r and alot less than the banshee. the top speeds are all going to be about the same. stock to stock the 450r and the 700 are close and i think the shee is right after them. (unless on pavement) then the shee will give them a run for there money. once you put pipes on all the bikes i think the shee will catch the 450r and come close to the raptor 700.
but i dont know to much about the riding you do i am more into so cal hardpacked and dune riding. but my raptor will climb anything any other quad will climb if not more.

For open country, nothing beats the 450's!!! They are ultralight, and have great handling.
The Raptor is a torque monster, but it is more of a trail quad. I personally hate this machines ergonomics.
The Shee never did have a good frame or suspension. Let this tired old machine die a natural death......
