Ok Guys,

Gettin ready to buy a new quad, only problem....IM STUCK

I dont know which one to get on thing that i need is the locking front diff so im pointed toward the Grizzly 700 more than anything because of that and i have always had a yamaha.

Any pros. or cons. on the others......Brute 750i, Sportsman 800, Grizzly 700, or Kingquad 750AXi

thanks in advance</end quote></div>

What are you going to use it for?
fast riding its hard to beat the Outy 800
comfort and user friendly goes to the Sportsman 800
Artic Cat for slower rougher terrain, mud bogging
Grizzly for power steering
Honda, Kawi, Suzuki?

Polaris and Can Am have all wheel drive systems and can be ridden all day in AWD and perform great. Very easy to use.
The others have a button you push for 3wd and then another button or lever to lock the front diff.

I looked at them all, test rode as many as possible, I bought a Polaris 500 X2. My father bought an atv also but he got a Can Am. Dealer told him Can Am was more technogically advanced!
It didn't help he still can't keep up.
With fuel going up, you need to remember the big bores will get 1/2 the fuel mileage of a 400-500.

I personally did not like the ride of the grizz, it was too tippy, just did not give me a warm fuzzy feeling. Have you test driven any of the others?

belts don't slip on their own, driver slips the belt being in the wrong gear for the load
use low range for high load and slow speed
shouldn't be making noise

Never had any belt slipping problem here. The weird noise from the slutch is due to the EBC mainly and is inherant to the design. I have heard that it has improved on the newer ones but no personal experiance.

what about the brute force, they just did a review in Quad Magazine and it lost to the kingquad by 3 and my buddy had a eiger and he told me that all the front bumper is on a kingquad is plastic over a metal tube....i wouldnt have to worry about that because i'll put a warn bumper on it

For an all round Utility machine, I'd say the polaris. I've never had a belt problem with mine, by far the best ride, will out work any of those listed. Power steering would be cool on the grizz though. Have they fixed the cold starting on the grizz yet?
