I respect your opinion, no doubt. Yes, with diff-lock engaged steering becomes very difficult, same in a Jeep or other vehicle quipped with a diff-lock. On the Grizz it is a simple push of a button, don't even have to let go of the grip. The button is right there....
I opted for the non-EPS model. I thought it was just a gimmick. Now that I hear the rave reviews, wish I'd spent the extra for EPS.

the only problem with the polaris 4x4 is when you get in some mud and you have to take the time for the back tires to lose traction to engage the 4x4 it might already be too late.....i like knowing that i'm in 4x4 instead of being in 4x4 when the back tires slip

priesman64, you dont have to wait for the rear wheels to spin!they engage almost instantly 1/5 of a revolution!

I don't see much rear wheel slipage to engage the fronts!
Brent13,
You had a Polaris? Did your AWD work?
Sounds like you know Jeeps? Think of the Polaris AWD system as working like a Detroit locker. The front can turn faster than the rears but never slower. Like turning a Detroit, the outside wheel can turn faster but never slower. We all know how great the Detroit locker works offroad! The Polaris AWD system is an automatic locking 4wd system.

Cold Start Problem ???
I've been starting my 660 since 2002 and it's never once not started on the first push. I was even starting it by pull start for a while (due to another issue) and it would pull start on the first pull.</end quote></div>
Is your 02' fuel injected? No. Keep up.

Yes, I had a 2000 SP 500. Won it at a Pheasants Forever fund raiser to boot. At that time I also had a 1999 Explorer 400. I am by no means calling Polaris ATV's junk. I am just calling their 4x4 system junk, and I use the term "junk" loosely. Yes, the system works, but the true 4x4 diff lock of the Grizzly and others like it are better in my opinion, for my use. I feel the AWD on the Polaris really shines on their 4x4 sport quads, the Scrambler for example. Not sure they even make that one anymore, but it is the one I remember. It is a great system for goes fast AWD needs. I just think they should wrap their hands around a diff lock system for their big utility quads.

AWD all 4 wheels
ADC/AWD all 4 wheels with all 4 wheel engine braking
other atvs have
