Default What ATV to get? I'm a girl btw... :)

My husband has a Polaris Sportsman 700 and I like it and all, it's just that when I take off it like, takes off too fast... I don't know how to explain it. AND it's hard to turn. I drove an Arctic Cat 650 H1 yesterday and I liked it... It was a smooth take off and easy to turn. The guy is asking $6399 for it. Is that a good deal? I need something that will be a comfortable ride when we ride for long periods of time. I have back problems and can't take the risk of being in pain. My husbands mother has a Kawasaki 360 and I like how easy it is to drive but I can feel every bump I go over. My husband's is such a smooth ride... What do I do? Any suggestions? Whether it's Polaris, Arctic Cat, or whatever else.... I want Four Wheel Drive and Independent Suspension.

My wife has a Grizzly 700 with the power steering. She loves it. I have one and the ride is smooth, easy to steer and has plenty of power. You'll have to see if your husband will go along with the Yamahammer. Arctic Cats in my opinion are still on the drawing board!
You should be able to negotiate $6500 to $6800 on a new one. 07's should be in the low six's for pricing. Best machine I ever rode. I have a polaris, honda, yamaha and had a suzuki. The suzuki is gone!
Good luck

It is interesting how often people in here mention that they have back problems. I know the manufacturer's market research tells them that aging baby boomers are looking for cruiser couches!

Kuddles,
My wife has been most happy with a Grizzly 700 and its power steering. She's had several ATVs over the last 8 years, and if memory serves me correctly that includes a Wolverine 350, Kodiak 400, Kodiak 450, Grizzly 660, Grizzly 700, Sportsman 500 HO, and a Scrambler 500 4x4. No contest, the Grizzly 700 wins hands down. She wouldn't let me touch her Grizzly 700, and I had to buy one of my own to ride. My Grizzly came with a five year warranty, so I had suggested that she take my Grizzly 700, we would sell hers, and I could get a Renegade 800 for myself. But no way, she won't even let me look at another ATV to replace her Grizzly 700 with.
