If price matters discount the Wolverine that is the most exspensive 350 4x4 made. There are 400s 4wd that cost less.

I just bought "my first" quad a 2001 Wolverine and I love it. We have a 96 Timberwolf and our son has a Blaster. The Wolverine will run with the Blaster on top end but doesn't have the manuverbilty of the Blaster on tight turns but will eat it alive in mud and snow. The Timberwolf is fun but slow after riding the other two.

Dude, Dude, Dude.
I'm not really partial to any one manufacturer. If any, Yamaha I guess. So I'm not just trying to "sell" a Honda.
Go with the 250ex. I just re-read the article in this month's "Dirt Wheels". Awesome bike as far as I can tell and would definitely go with this one. Peace.

I don't think you can consider the Wolverine in the same class as the other ones you mentioned. The Wolverine is a fast 4x4 the others. Its also the most expensive of the group.

As for the rest of the quads you mentioned test drive each one off them & see which one fits you the best.
