Default interested in a scrambler 400 4x4

hey all, im in the process of selling my 2000 blaster and getting something else, i love all the different types of four wheeling but im split right down the middle of my ridding style and people i ride with. on one side the friends i ride with are into sport quads, and they have quads such as ds 650, 660 raptor, 250 ex, ect.. we do some back road, trail ridding, screwin around in the back yard type deal. and the other type of friends i ride with are into 4x4 utilities, i borrow my dads rubicon when i go with them and i have alotta fun with the muddin, goin through rivers, ditches, rough terrian stuff. I was thinkin that the scrambler could fit the bill on what i was looking for, plus i love 2 strokes, i would deffinately get a hot seat clutch, exhaust, k&n filter, and re jet everything to work, i think it would do ok with the different styles of ridding, any input would be greatly appreciated, what do yous think?????

I had a Scrammy 400 4x4, for the type of riding you mention, it is a good fit.

The Scrammy 400 sounds perfect for you. You may want to put a better piston in before doing any performance mods. A lot of people say the piston skirt breaks when you mod them out. On the plus side you can double the horsepower with a 440 big-bore stage 5 kit. There are tons of options for the 400.

As for the Outlander, I don't think those are 2-strokes, and can't decipher the rest of that message.

I had a 500HO Scrambler for about a week. Long story, it was used and pretty hammered.

but in that short time I had it, I thought it was a brilliant machine. An example better than mine would be a blast.

For all the riding I do on trails here in CO, all but a couple would pose no problem for a quad with 4HI. I almost never need 4LO, and my diff lock goes unused.

So a 4x4 sport machine would be great here. Although I'd look at the IRS Renegades from Can Am just for ground clearance on the rocks.
