Does anyone have any good recommendations for a quad for a 4.5 yr old. I was looking at this one, but don't know if it is junk or not.

i would not recomend getting a quad that is not a name brand. i had a bad experience from my first quad. the machine would constantly give us problems and the parts were nearly impossible to get. id stick with the name brands.

 

That's what I figured. Any recommendations on specific models?

 

I'm in the same boat as hacktorious. Looking for an atv for my nephew. He is 6 and pretty tall. I was thinking 110cc. Whatever I get will definitely have a remote kill switch for safety reasons. Ghatzi says to stick with name brands, which I tend to agree with, but aren't all small machines made in china and just have the name brand i.e. polaris? Just wondering......

 

I think all the kids quads are made in China or Taiwan but would still only get a major brand. At least you can get parts and customer support from your dealer.

 

get a honda 90.. they are decent.. also look at suzuki my neighobr has 3 90s or 80s cant remember.. he also has a 110 yamaha with clutch
