I dont think a 660 is too big, you gotta respect your machine and ride according to your ability. Dont worry about keeping up with your 450 buddy if you arent comfortable dooing so. I'm sure the more comfortable you get .... with whatever you decide on ... the faster you will be. I personally dont think a friend will have any problem waiting a couple of minutes for you( or anyone ) to catch up at a stop area . Riding with buddies isnt always about who is fatest, its about having fun. Just ask for help on picking a reliable machine so your buddy wont hafta tow you back to the truck or cabin !

 

but I heard that the '01 raptor's had tranny problems

 

i ride with friends that have banshees, preditors, raptors, and so on. my 400ex keeps up if not beats most of them in trails. straight away they take me. but when they can't ride because they broke down i win. go with a honda they never break down and are a great all round quad.

 

ok... I just can't find one for 2500$... and still have to sell my atv...
