chinese atvs
hello. looking for some info quick. looking to buy two quads. 8 year old and 11 year old. there are so many off brand ones out there now. how do you know what is any good. i used to think stick with a name brand but i am told by everyone that the smaller 90cc and such name brands are built by someone else anyway. i started looking at a pair of arctic cat 90cc 2004 models for $1000 for the pair. one had scored the piston. but when i started checking on parts i find out there made in china or someplace anyway. might as well spend $700 a piece and buy a new china brand. but what is anygood. are there really that many manufactures out there? or are they just sold under other names? any experiences with ones such as jackel, kazuma, kasea, loncin, sunl, kymco. and the list goes on. does anyone know exactly who makes the ones for some of the name brand companies? would 90cc be outgrown too fast for my two boys? they drive our jd gator around the farm all the time and my oldest drives my pickup around the yard and field already. should i be looking at a 110 or 125cc? looks like the overall specs arnt much larger than the 90s just more engine. looking to purchase something real soon. thanks in advance.

While name brands may farm out the kids models sometimes, the huge difference is that they oversee the quality control!! Otherwise, quality control is low to nonexistent! These Chinese companies just do not hold themselves to any higher standards.
Time and again, these machines have proven to be a disaster and a waste of money in the end. Learn from others mistakes...do not repeat them!
