Can am Renegade vs. Outlander
Well im new here in this forum.
My Question to you guys is should i get a 2009 renegade 500, Or the Outlander 800 XT
I will mostly be using it for some fun and plowing in winter, I would rather go through mud and such rather than going 1000000 mph.
I Was told from the dealer that they can put a plow on the renegade. but only a 1500 lb winch....
I would like the XT model for the bad **** racks and winch. And it would handle more snow.
I have been approved and have insurance ready on both of them. i just have to tell them which one and they will set it up.

Comparing the 800 XT Outy to the 500 Rene and the 800 comes out the winner in all areas.
800 is faster for play and more powerful for work. If you want the racks and the heavy winch then then it's a no-brainer, get the Outy. Aside from that, if you do lots of mudding you may want the extra fender protection that the Outy offers over the Renegade.
Since you are looking at the 500 Renegade, yhou may also want to consider the Outy 650.

well i pick up the Can Am outlander 800 xt.
I got it on friday but i havent been out riding yet.
So far i am satisfied. although i only have 0.1 hours on it and thats with the dealership riding it to make sure all is good...
Im glad i went with the outlander over the renegade. Where i live in north dakota we get alot of snow and thats why i decided to get the 800. incase i decide to put the tracks on it. havent decided on that though.
