Need Advice with a brute Force!!
#1
Ok so recently i have decided to get back into the atv thing>> I have been looking for a Brute force to ride around i have found one on craigslist its an 05 750 brute it has team green plastics and extra set of factory camo plastics. 29.5x10 front and 29.5x12 rear highlifter outlaws on supergrip 5 star wheels (wide offset), 2'' highlifter lift, highlifter radiator relocate kit, highlifter extreme clutch kit, snorkeled, dynajet jet kit, moose cdi, hmf exhaust, custom 240 watt waterproof mp3 stereo. and the only thing that is holding me back is that it has a little over 2,000 miles he wants $4,500 for it which is great but could someone explain if the mileage is safe?? And is this a good deal??

You really need to know what parts to chk and how to chk them, I would think motor and trans could do the miles, but if you see any trace of milk slim in oil or gear lube , not good. I have 08 brute, all ready need tie rod end, ball joint,a-arm bushing. about the money ,if all those mods are important to you. good deal , I have own just about every quad,I like this one the best

I don't know much about ATV's, but we did some research on the 05 Brute Force. We found a Brute Force driven by a retired couple with 500 Miles for $4500. We thought that sounded good.
But something didn't seem right about the bike after test driving. We started doing a lot of reasearch. I think the 05 was the first year they made that model. Do a google search of Brute Force 05 recall. There was a problem with the Tie Rods and several other things that year. If you go to buy it you will want to make sure all the recall work was done on it.
People rave about the power, but it is a gas hog. The 2005 model may not be the year you want to buy when considering the Brute Force. I'm Female and don't know a lot about ATV's or engines, but I do know good deals and I did a ton of research before we bought the quads we did. You don't want to pay $4500 for someone else's headache.
