Well, if I were you, I'd probably go for the Blaster. First off, you've already purchased a quad from the dealer and know their quality of service, etc. Secondly, the Blaster is a two-stroke, making it easier to up the engine power. Thirdly, the Blaster's MRSP is only $3,099, compared to the 300EX's MRSP at $4,799. Now, think of all of the mods you could do to the Blaster with the money you saved, by not getting the 300EX. You should, however test drive both of the machines and make sure you like whatever one you decide to purchase.

I own a blaster and I love it. The only thing I really hate is the kick start. It never wants to start well in the cold. But thats just mine so.. but a Blaster WILL beat a 300ex and it is a lot cheaper..cant beat that pricetag!

We own both. The 300 is WAY MORE DURABLE than the Blaster, and the suspension is WAY BETTER!! The Blaster is always down for some kind of repair. It's in today getting welded up for a crack in the swingarm, and we go through transmission components in particular, pretty regularly. 4-strokes are just more durable than 2-strokes. The extra money you pay to purchase the 300, you'll save in repairs later!
