2009 Polaris VS 2010 Polaris 850 xp
I need a little help.
I'm having trouble trying to decide between a Used 2009 Polaris 850 XP Camo.. without EPS. VS. A New 2010 Polaris 850 xp Stealth Black with EPS.
The used 2009 has 400 miles on it. It has a ton of extras on it. 3500 lb. winch, Blizzard II plow, front and rear brush gaurds. Storage box up front and Rear Bag...... But it does not have the EPS..
It looks like the 2009 has done alot of plowing by looking at the back tires...(they are a little worn down). It also might have been in some serious mud.
Would this deter anyone from buying it? Or nothing a good ol power washing cant help out.

All comes down to price.
How much are you saving over the new one.
You have to assume the worst when buying used when it comes to quads. Assume that the fluids have never been changed and she's been rode hard and put away wet.
Once someone has it in their head that they are going to trade in their machine, maintenance becomes an after thought. Why spend 100 bucks to change all the fluids when it can be someone elses problem in a month anyhow.

Longer for the rest of the fluids.
Can you even ruin a ATV in 400 miles without a crash? I mean its only 4 tanks of gas, there's guys on this site that do that on a long weekend. If a ATV can,t hold up for 400 miles even riden hard I don,t think I would want that model even brand new.
A new ATV will have 400 miles on it before a month is up anyways.
