I've owned about 4 PoPos. Ive always thought they were pretty reliable, except for one. Ive had 2 Hondas, a Foreman and a Rancher. Hated the Foreman, love the Rancher (when it works). The Rancher is the one I have now. It has been in the shop 3 times in 6 months, just replaced the caberator kit. Thought it was fixed, took it for a ride, parked it, then it started leaking gas again. So it's gotta go. Im ditching carberation and goin with fuel injection this time. I had a Yamaha Breeze when I was a kid, have a Yamaha Rhino now, the only problem with it is it takes too long to crank in cold weather. But Ive narrowed it down to Polaris or Suzuki, thought I had my mind made up on the Polaris, but I keep reading mixed reviews. I just want to be 100% sure before I buy. I'm not a mechanic so I dont wanna have to be hauling it to the shop everytime I turn around like Ive done with the Honda. I would be willing to drive an hour to the Suzuki dealer if it was worth it. I also can't decide if I want EPS or not. Sounds like it could be tricky at high speeds....

My fiancee rides a 550 xp w/o power steering and thinks it si fine. We both bought new xp's and I didn't like the power steering either. I am sure I would have gotten used to it though. If you are used to riding w/o it I don't think it would be needed. The new xp's steer a lot lighter than the older strut style polarises. The are only about a year old but no problems with either of them. Mine is the 850 and has 27'' tires and an lift and everything seems fine to. Wish I could offer you some insight on the Suzuki but have never owned own.

I probably don't need anything as aggressive as the Zillas or Executioners. I was lookin at something like the Maxxis Bighorns...I like the size of these in the pic:

ITP SS212 REAR WHEEL -12x7 BLACK Details: FITS: 2006 HONDA RANCHER 400 4X4 Position: Rear Size: 7.00x12.00 Style: SS212 Matte Black
Does everything look ok? I'm definitely not a tire ordering expert lol.. just making sure the sizes will work. I do not want a lift, a friend told me 26' was the biggest you could go without a lift, is that true?
