Yamaha or Honda

Need some help picking between the two. Both look great on paper and look like you cant go wrong either way. Honda lives off of their durability but the ride on the grizzly seems to be better. Looking to do some hunting, plowing, and trail riding with it. Just want some help to make this decision a little bit easier for myself. I've rode both brands before but am looking to buy my first one for myself. Looking to buy brand new, so if you were to buy a new ATV today what would you go with? Thank you

It would help if you mentioned which specific models you were looking at. For your stated purposes though, either will work just fine. I think you get more value with a Yamaha in general, but Honda does still make durable, if somewhat lower tech machines.

My buddy had an 700 Grizzly. Tons of power for sure. Unfortunately it is riddled with problems. Right now it doesn't want to stay running. This would concern me big time because this is an injected machine.
Don't know how I feel about injected 4wheelers. I can tear through a carb no problem. Injection....err, not so much.

If I bought new today it would be Honda hands down. I have owned a couple in the past, and know several people who have abused the snot out of Hondas (and other brands, including Yamahas) throughout the last 30 years. By far the Hondas proved most reliable & durable. I have not owned a new machine since 04 (Honda Rincon, LOVED IT, had to sell it due to $$ reasons), so I may be out of touch with the newer machines. But my best friend with the 700 Grizzly having problems certainly steers me away from that one. It's a shame too, I think it is the best looking rig IMO. And the power....wow. But if it doesn't run then none if that matters.
