Best idea so far is to clean it all up, sand the bottom side real good and find a piece of durable plastic I can shape and form to the bottom, and sand it as well. Then hold it all together somehow and epoxy the formed plastic to the bottom side. After curing, drill holes on both sides of the crack and thread wire through like shoelaces for support, pull tight and tie off.
Seems like I read about some kind of goop you could use in this situation but I forget what it was called. I believe it would take the place of the epoxy.
Right now I need advice on what kind of plastic to use and how to source it, as well as what kind of epoxy.
My Grizzly had a tear in the right front fender like this. I just drilled a few holes in the plastic and put some big zip ties in it I already had to keep it from tearing more. It wasn't the prettiest repair job but it was a 10 year old quad so I didn't care if it looked perfect. It seemed to hold up. I wonder if that Gorilla glue stuff I see advertised on tv bonds to plastic. There was another one where they glued a chain together and pulled a truck with it or something. I'm sure the results were exaggerated but I guess they proved a point.
Thanks for the good advice yall. This is a 2011 700 Grizz and someone pointed out the pieces for the newer models are backward compatible and much cheaper like around 25. For this price I'll just go ahead and replace.
