I am about to buy a new machine [first one] and am having a really hard time. I thiught i had it figured out but the more I look the harded it gets. I have the list down to four. AC 300 4x4 [Independant suspension/selectable 2/4wd] Honda 350ES Great reputation but not indepedant susp. Kawi 300 Prarie Top Speed 42MPH may not keep up with buds and no Independant. Yamaha Big Bear 2000 model no independant. These bikes all price out within $300 of each other. Not owning an ATV in the past, it will be hard to predict what type of riding I will be doing. Any thoughts at this point will help.

 

My money would have to go with the Honda. The indipendant rear isn't that big of a deal but the longjevity(sp) of a honda is.

 

go with the honda because ive been driving a honda for 7 years and none of them let me down but
my friend has a rancher 350 4by4 es and hase a little trouble shifting and another of my friends
has a 450esp model and it fails on him alote so go with the honda s models

Thats funny...I have had my ES for quite a while...never any issues, and the same for the people I know that have es's to, one thing to remeber is that because you had some issues with it does not mean that everyone has.

I would strongly recomend a ES to anyone that asks me about IT!
