Im looking for a nice 4 stroke sports quad. Something that will keep with a CR 250. I dont have enough money for the raptor, but i've been looking at the 400 ex. I want something fast and powerfull and i'll be using it just to ride in the dunes. any ideas ???

I would look at the new Z-400 , or if u have the time to wait i would wait and get it with GREEN plastic KXF-400 LOL .But if that is still out of your range I gess get a 400ex.Or u could also find a nice used banshee!!!

Thats not a bad choice if u are going to be doing JUST duning!!!And the banhee has a pretty strong motor so it will last a couple summers with out having to be re-bulit!!

 

closest thing to cr250 speed is the speed c-dale that is i ran my brother in law got the jump pulled away he caught up with me and pulled away looked back and i caught back up but he still was ahead in the finish area but i was looking right at him

Get the Suzuki, or if you want green, get the Kawazuki. Best bang for the buck. No need to rebuild as long as you keep up service. C-dale is AMERICAN made. NUF said.
