I've test riden both at the dealer and I plan on getting the Prarie. It felt like it had more low end and the suspension felt better to me. The 660 seemed to roll too much in hard corners for my taste.

It is worth the extra $$$$$$ if you like the independant rear suspension (softer ride and more ground clearance). I have ridden both and do not like the Griz. I would have a Kawi 650 if it had independant rear suspension. My neighbor has a Kawi 650 and it is a nice machine. If you buy the Kawi budget for new tires because the stock tires are terrible. My neighbor put a set of Goodyear Rawhides on his and it drastically improved the off-road capabilities of the 650.

I have ridden both and did not like the grizz due to the soft suspension. I love the prairie and if I was planning to buy a big bore atv that would be it. It offers the best of both worlds. It felt stronger and more agile(if that term is applicable in this category). The griz felt mushy in handling and power was ok but not like the Prairie.
