I plan on buying new or fairly new so i would prob. want some form of insurance.. Anybody know estimated costs for these questions.. Also if i buy used or buy in a state where i dont have to pay sales tax will i have to pay it if i get it registered??? Any help will be greatly appreciated

In Maine, the registration was $12.00 last year. I believe it has gone up a little for this year. Insurance is usually $175.00 - $225.00 per year. If you buy a bike in NH (tax free), you would have to pay the MA sales tax when you register it. I can't believe I did all this typing without a Ma**hole comment (just kidding). I you are looking, you should check out the Polaris Sportsman line. I had a 2000 500 and I am getting an 04 600 next week. I had no problems with my 2000 after putting 2200 hard miles on it. Good luck.

RE: insurance
check out atvline.com I have 5 ATV's and A large street bike thru them and you can't beat their prices anywhere....Only thing they insure are motorcycles and ATV's, you can get a quote right on their website.
