Default Camping in northen michigan?

Where are some good places to go camping in northen michigan? Maybe even in the U.P??

Road,
There are all kinds of camp grounds in the UP, state, federal, and even public. If you plan on it in the near future hurry, a lot get booked for deer season. The national forest's have primative or shared outhouse's.

Hey I never said I get those sites. It is safer and cleaner to use the woods or bring your chair with the seat cut out.

Go all the way and cross the border to Sault Ontario from Sault Michigan. Bring gas though Sault Canada sell gas at $1.08 per liter while Sault USA sell it at 0.80 cents a liter. LOL

The Canadian dollar is worth 0.99 cents U.S right now so that distracts our American tourist also.
