Default water pump

I changed my water pump seal due to finding a leak that got progressively worse. Well i started it back up...and still leaking. No water in oil. Any ideas?

Did you check the shaft? If it's a little scored it could cause a leak. Replacing the shaft along with the seals is usually the best way to go.

hey silver thanks for the info...it was the shaft and inner seal. A Local bmw dealer had a kit for the f650 so i got it and swapped it out today. Still good to go for the dunes.

The kit is the same. I tried replacing the o-ring but it was the inner seal like everyone says. Its a simple job. Just replace it all.
