ds 650 swing arm swap

Default ds 650 swing arm swap

will a 2007 aluminum swing arm bolt up to a 2000 ds 650 ? is every thing the same besides the length?

Yup, except the piece that the rear caliper bolts to. its a little different

The swing arm bushings are different. You will have to use the old style in the new arm.

I was able to use the caliper mount, it did rotate the caliper to the rear as the peg is higher on the newer arm.

You will also need to use newer spacers with the lower shock mount. I just flat ground my older ones.

I like the shorter arm for the dirt, but it did make it a little light on the front end for the sand. Main thing is saving 12Lbs over the older steel arm.
