06 ds650 chain adjustment

I need help with how to tighten my chain a bit. My awesome kids lost my manual and all I got to go by is a sticker in the rear of the quad that says 7/8" total play on the chain is good. thanks..

loosen the bolts on the rear of the swing arm
locate the guide hole on the sprocket
line up guide hole with hole in carrier
place a pin in the hole
move atv forward or back depending on if your tightening or loosening.
thats it,don't forget to tighten the bolts
