I was wondering if you have to put oil in the magneto cover? And if so, how much? My four wheeler was smoking ont the vent hose but I didn't know if it just was cause I just put it together. I just don't want to mess anything up.

Oil only goes in the oil tank below the headlight. About 3.3 quarts. The 650 Rotax is a dry sump system, so the oil pump works to keep most of the oil up in the tank. Some oil vapor out of the crankcase vent is normal, a lot can indicate a problem. You state that you just put it together, but you did not say if you replaced the piston ring. It's possible that if you did replace the ring, that it needs time to seat and seal the cylinder correctly. Someone else can chime in on the ring, since I have not had to do that (yet)
