Anyone going to silver lake dunes this memorial day.

 

has anyone been there yet this spring? last year the new db settings were enforced, are they worse this year?

 

fastone do you really drive from alabama to ride silverlake? isn't little sahara closer? silverlake is only 1mile square.

so racer how was silver lake? is the dnr ok this year or are they tite assed like befor?

 

The DNR wasn't tight a..ed last year. My friend got in with a Pro-circuit T4 on his 400ex (which reads at ~105dBa at 1/2 throttle). As long as you troll up to the station and troll away, they probably won't notice.

 

i got in there during the week with a graydon pipe w/18 disc ok, but i was always looking over my shoulder for the man hiding behind the tree's checking noise levels[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] i just wanted to know about this year and how tite they are during the weekends? want to ride there in july just like to know.

 

I was there May 5-6 no sound checks just sparky checks. they used this 2' stick if you had a open end to see if your sparky was in plase
the exit is now the entrance, I gess the old entrance is under construction, might be done now? the vouchers started the following week 5-13
