DS Graphics (or lack of)
#1
I am not really satisfied with the graphics kits that are out there for the DS. So I plan on doing some paint work instead.
I remember seeing someone post a message about some new paint or additives specificly for plastic that allows stuff to flex without chipping/cracking/pulling loose. Does anyone remember this?
Also to protect the paintwork I plan to get some clear plastic overlay. Does anyone know where I can find some clear stickyback plastic like the stuff used in most of the graphic kits?
My other thought is to make my own graphics by painting some solid color mylar, or possibly overlaying cutout mylar and then using a clear overlay on that?
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
-Tom

You mean these?
Skin industries banshee
If so then no, skinindustries.com does not offer them for us DS650's and when I emailed them and asked them if they plan on coming out with any they sent a one word email, it read "no"I think our only options right now are Alba and Ceet.

That sucks. There's a world of profits out there for someone who can bring desirable stuff to the DS market. imo.
