Best epoxy for headlight mount?!?
#1
Hey guys,
after a little slow-motion minor rollover (don't ask), it seems I broke one of my upper headlight mounts right on the lens. I searched and found out everyone's using Epoxy.
Does anyone recommend a brand and type of epoxy that will last the longest??
Thanks Again
Jeff

Go to Home Depot and buy the epoxy. Its the same stuff they use on boats. Buy the epoxy/resin and a package of fiberglass matting. Cut the fiberglass up into 1in squares and mix it with the epoxy. Go way over kill on the application of this mess. Also make sure everything is clean before you put the epoxy/fiberglass mix on. If you want pics of the outcome PM me.

epoxy PUTTY - two part putty mix, needed together, and applied with the fingers. build up thick all the way around and it'll be stronger than original, guarenteed. 5 minutes into it after it starts to set you can trim with a knife for cosmetics sake. just scratch and sand the area first for a good bond. you won't be disappointed

Alright, I'll check out my local hardware stores and see what's what and what's cheaper, etc.
