This could be widely debated, and it has been.

I think the top 3 are:

1. St. Anthony
2. Little Sahara Utah
3. Glamis

This is in no particular order, they all have their good and bad.

I Love Saint Anthony ID.But i must admit thats the only place ive ridden. The Glamis guys claim Glamis is the Bomb but most havent ridden St Anthony to compare either. From what i hear the Dunes in St Anthony are the tallest.
I think Wyoduner has ridden both and i believe i recall him mentioning that he likes St Anthony best.

Glamis is by Far the best its awsome.. Id say Dumont or Pismo beach are a close second, depends on how much you like the ocean which you perfer.. the list goes on, mainly CA Dunes..... now outside CA, id say maybe St. Anthony could be in the runnings, Kermit Sand Hills TX,(view my gallery) is in my opinion the best outside of CA, ( i have not been to St A's but seen lots of pics) Oregon's got beautiful sceenry in the background but the dunes themselves are more like rolling little hills, I perfer the sharp steep dunes..
these are all opinions of course, except GLAMIS, once youve been youll know... id describe it as NOT sand dunes........... more like a SAND MOUNTAIN RANGE

JETJOCK16- i assume that you have never been to the oregon dunes because we have much more than just rolling hills as you called them.if you were to go to winchester bay in oregon and ride there you would not consider some of the large dunes there little hills.as for a challenge try coming out of what we call an idiot hole from down in the trees and you will feel very challenged especially when it can take many attempts to get out on even the most powerful quad.i think that an opinion should be based on experience to some degree dont you?

well i'll go with any dunes over dirt. well the oregon dunes have enough riding area to keep my family entertained at all times we never get to see it all or ride all the spots, but i'd have fun at any dunes, i've looked at the pictures of other places and i'd like to ride them all.

i lived in WA state for many years and visited the oregon dunes frequently, that why i have the experiance and your the one without... id assume you havent been to GLAMIS OR KERMIT OR PISMO OR DUMONT, in order for your thought process to lead you to belive OR is up in the top dunes....... Like i stated before they dont compare... they are great in their own way an i still make it to winchestor about once a year, (was there in Jan.) cause its alot of fun, but it aint nothing compared to glamis
