Default I think I Fixed It

I had some posts on sputtering when wheelieing and some hill climb problems (dying out when going up). I think I found the problem. I changed back to the stock needle and put on a vented gas cap. I held a wheelie for some time and it seemed ok, no hesitation. It also seemed to eliminate some of the hesitation. I will try a larger test mabye this week-end at the national trails in Marienville. My Dyno Jet needle had all kinds of little gouges along one side and this might have caused it to not seat all the way. I'm going to smooth up the needle and retry it.
Incidentally, the vented cap came from my Cub Cadet lawn mower.

One other thing I ran across this weekend was a former dealer in Marienville that still has some stock parts from '01 & 00 year Ds's. He sold me oil for $7 a quart and would be willing to heavily discount his inventory. I'm trying to get a list to post it here. I know how hard it is to get stock parts.

The oil is the stock Bomb oil. The dealers around here sell it for $12.99 a quart.

Sounds about right for the dealer oil. I just changed my oil and got 3 quarts of Bomb oil, oil filter and 2 spark plugs for about $20.
