I wouldn't recommend that you "bitch up a storm". Sounds like the service manager from Bombardier will be accessing the situation. They'll want to know what went wrong and what corrective action is needed to prevent it from happening again. I would certainly let them know you'd prefer that they take the bike and go off and figure out what went wrong and leave you out of it by setting you up with a new bike.

And one more thing you could have also gotten a new Mojave. My brother has a 99 Mojave and he runs that thing hard and he also has wrecked it many times. It has never complained and it has never been to the shop. It still runs like the day he got it. And one of our friends has a 1990 Mojave he hasn't even taken it for a service job since he has had it. And the oil has only been changed in it maybe twice since he bought it. And his still runs great.

If we had wanted an out dated slow little machine don’t you think that we would have bought one? The DS is brand new and there are bound to be a few problems with them. I think that everyone that bought a DS was expecting that. As for your warrior sure it has less problems. How many years has Yamaha had to refine the design? The only changes that they made to it were graphics wow! That makes me want to run right out and buy one! If it weren’t for the DS Yamaha would still be happy with the same old stuff instead of getting off their butts and producing a new sport ATV for all you Yamaha lovers. If they get lucky if might, just might compete with the DS.
So don’t knock the DS until you can say that this new Yamaha that is still on paper mind you comes out and has no problems! Until then the DS will rule the dunes!!! PS I ride the crap out of my DS and I have never had any problems with it.
RIDE HARD, RIDE FAST, DIE HAPPY!!!!

Ok people I dont want to be an a hole but please take your opinions somewere else like a forum that asks for it. This forum is for people that have Bombardier's and for discussion of problems affecting them. I am trying to get people together and possibly help them out and get help from them as well by banding together and makeing this company realize this bike has some quirks. Thank you for respecting my wishes.

I second that!

To all those people that just love their Hondas, Kawasakis and Yamahahahas, go to another forum and tell it to someone who cares!
