How'd it go with the Bombardier reps?

By the way, the neutral light is unreliable. Half the time the light does not come on when it is in neutral, so I don't pay much attention to it. However, if the light does come on, it is for sure in neutral. I had the neutral sensor replaced and it didn't make any difference.

I have had only jetting problems with my DS and other than that it has performed flawlessly for two months. I finally got the big gun pipe and got it on tonight so maybe tommorrow I can let ya know the outcome on performance gains. This quad is all speed and handling, anyone who says otherwise is a novice rider that doesn't know how to ride or simply has not rode a DS period. this quad rocks

Well I finally ran into my first problem. The Axle seams to have come loose. If the bike is off the ground you can move the axle back and forth about an inch. I think that the axle nuts have come loose. I don't think that the bearings got damaged but I will take it to the dealer this week so they can look at it.

The axle retainer has a nut and bolt through it that comes lose. You need to tighten the retainer by turning it COUNTER-clockwise and then tightening the nut on the bolt.

I had the same thing happen and discovered it soon after it had happened. I don't think that anything happened to the bearings, but I won't know without tearing it apart. It tightened up nicely, once I figured out that it went backwards, and everything seems fine. There's no slop, no squeeks and it rolls just fine.

Luckily, the only thing this cost me was a day of riding and 6 hours of driving, round trip.

Good luck,

Have any of you guys had problems with your brakes squeaking? Mine squeak quite a bit. They seam to work fine but the squeaking is starting to **** me off. Only the front brakes squeak the back is fine. I tried cleaning them with break cleaner and that helped for a while but they start squeaking again after about 2 hrs. Any ideas?

It really, really pains me to hear all of these horror stories from fellow ATV riders who have paid so much money for a crappy 1st production-run machine. I'm practically feeling sick to my stomach....must....go...sit....down.....and count my blessings!
