Does anyone know of a good DS mechanic in the Dallas area?

I know a few in Longview. Thats about 2 hrs toward Shreveport. Thats the best I can do.

I am having a power as in horse power. For some reason my DS starts , idles and goes ,but lack the ***** that it had before.

Right now it is as fast as a scrambler 250 CC. ...ok power ,but it will not even spin the wheels on the take off.

 

When was the last time you changed the clutches?

 

a week ago with 60% stiffer springs

 

you hit it on the head starts and runs fine ,but does not pull after 2500 RPM's . I'm guessing on the RPM's as I do not a guage.

 

Hey, where in dallas do you live? We live in Waxahachie. You know where that is? You should make it out to the Texas Sand drags next weekend. Will you be at Aledo? I hate ATV mechanics, but I really like Motion Cycle in Garland. they also have a dyno, and sell lots of aftermarket. go to www.motioncycle.com and get the phone number. for some reason the number isn't in the phone book.

 

Thanks ... I lived by their new location about a year ago. They moved to Lake Highlands last year ,so they are not in Garland anymore.

I will run a few ideas that I got from the other DS owners first. If I can not solve it by tonight then off it goes to the dealer for repair.

I do not want to bring it to the drags (Aledo),as working on a ATV in the dust is not good.

Not to mention I will not have that much fun with the slowest DS there. I'm sure every DS owner can feel me on that.
