I've seen the frame TBR is working on, I can't give any specific details right now, but I can say this, you will be amazed at what it will be like. And no it won't be aluminum or titanium. A quad that size would rip that up quick. Just be patient though, it should take a lot less time to develop than the new honda. lol. Then again, what doesnt.

Look for the new Aluminum frame Honda CRF450 in Sept-October. It will be one bad MX machine!

I can't wait, it's been tough for me not to jump on the YFZ bandwagon. I'm sure it will be a great machine, I just have so much respect for honda products and the overall durability they build into them. My 400ex has served it's duty supremely, the only service it has needed is an oil/filter change. It has been ridden like it should be and now it's time to move on. My biggest thing about it's reliability is that I bought it 11-98 so it was very early on the assembly line with no failures. People getting on Honda's tardiness in releasing a new quad forget that it was Honda that rejuvinated the market in 99 and have simply done their honda thing and waited for everyone else to reveal their hand before they reveal theirs. If however, the new bike somehow lays an egg, I guess it will be the YZF.
P.S. I had the oppertunity to race a fully prepped TBR DS650 with TCS shocks and can easily say if you're into bigtime desert racing the big 650 is hard to beat.
