as for size it depends on what type of riding you do... if you mostly drag.. than taller tires are going to hook up better as they can dig deeper... on the other hand if you ride hard as hell and already spent $$$ on all zero preloads to lower your bike 3-4" to get it to be able to hang with your 250R friends who ride the dunes the days there not racing.... than no way am i going to run 21 or 22 inch tires trying to increase the center of gravity.... i would never run 22's ever.... but thats my type of riding.... i run 20" 8 paddles and just have standard mods.

pull up on a hill and stop with 22" you will take off with 20" you'll be getting off to get your quad unstuck. but if you want a good deal on some 20" i've got 9 and 10 paddle just sitting around. you might want to try the 14 front it seems to work simlar to 15-42 there 12.99 at rocky mountain so it's cheap to try.

10 paddles are too much for a stock bore on gas - my bike is modded with great power for a stock bore, and 10 paddles work well for me in some sand, but I just recently discovered that the heavy sand of St. Anthony's is too much for them. And 20" tires put the paddles so close together that its mega traction with minimal slip, making holeshots suck ***. I'm buying 22" 8 paddle.
