Theres only 1 or 2 440exs around here that can hit the 5.30s. But none run over 11:1 compression either. All these are strutted/wheelie bars, Wedges.

Fastest Raptor- 5.00s (bolt ons only 5.60s)
" EX - 5.30s ( " '' '' 5.90s)
" Banshee- 4.30s ( '' '' '' 5.50s)
" C'Dale - 5.70s (Speed with mapping 5.60s)
" DS - 5.50s (UNI filter, modded endcap, slammed, wheelie bar, 4-Snows)
havent got my K&N, RWR cdi, port matching dialed in yet.
RWR exhaust supposed to be here tomorrow, hopefully 5.30s.

Maybe our track is a little slow? Hopefully

i have a DS that runs 4.9's in 300' sand drags. i think it would be alot faster on a dirt track. i use no wheelie bar or struts

i also have a banshee that i ran a 4.3 on and let out of the throttle about 50 foot short of 300. still with no wheelie bar.


i counting on the DS to run 4.8's this year(if ever finished) at the sand drags. the fastest other 4 stroke i've seen was raptorboy673 he ran 5.1's with alky and NOS.


but again all tracks are different some faster than others, some even run 200'. maybe that is what the c'dale ran on????

 

dsmike, 4.90s on sand is crazy for a thumper. i have friends that go to Silver Lake, MI to the nationals, they say they normally run 3 to 4 tenths slower on sand.

how about a little info on your engine setup[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] i heard its still a 650cc!!

 

yea its still a 650 with all Ron Woods parts. i hope to get alittle faster when i put it back togetehr and use a wheelie bar. i have also ran a 7.5's in the 1/8 mile.

 

stage 3 with dual carbs and NOS?

 

no NOS and a homemade stage 3. i don't run the larger values. it has ran 63MPH in 300' sand.
