Default Help me with piston rings!!!

crap!! I hit enter by mistake!!!
Ok
I called RW and they said to put the ring in the cylinder and gap them to .020
the TOP gapless ring he said put it at 6 o'clock (intake)
Then put the second top ring at 10 o'clock
Then put the second solid ring at 2 o'clock.
Then space the top oil ring seal 2inches from the oil ring, then put the last oil clip an additional 2inchs from that..

HELP ME OUT.. I am doing this in a few hours,, I want this dang thing running! I dont want to mess up the rings here..

just make sure that the ring gaps dont match the ring above it! make sure the gap on the rings when compressed to the size of the cylinder is no more than .020 or less (push the ring into the cylinder with the piston and measure the gap making sure the ring is set flat in bore. when the rings heat up they expand and you dont what the ends to touch. also if the ring gap match there will be a loss of compression and blow by. on the oil rings make sure there off set also so that it doesnt let oil past.
