well i ordered the trail tech mounting bracket and for 56 dollars it is really nice, hightower and bigwaynster were spot on it looks goog and is really nice, only thing i didn't like was the bolts they sent for mounting were so long i thought they might hit the tank cover, so i went and got some shorter ones.

 

The bolts are a little long, but they don't hit the tank cover..very close though...What kind of grips did you get?

 

some the bike shop raved about i think there called spyger grips, i think the boy likes them on his honda, but i think i noticed they wear real quick.
