Default Clutch Problem Again.

I replaced the bearings inside the clutch basket. It worked fine for a few days. It shifted well and pulled great. After a little riding Monday it started acting up again. I think maybe the clutch basket has been routed out some. Could this be the problem? Who makes an aftermarket clutch basket and how much? Anyone know the cost of a stock one? Any other thing it could be?

exactly what bearings did you replace? define "acting up". I don't know anybody that's had a basket issue, especially on a stock bore motor. you've got me intrigued and interested.

are you talking that bearing on the actuator arm? if so did you get that little retaining clip in there back in right. the stock clutch basket is less than a 100 seems it was 65. i have a extra one but i'm not sure i want to send it on, for the price you might just want a new one if that wore that center out. i'd check for that clip or retaining ring first.

The first bearing on the bolt that goes through the clutch basket. It was in there but torqued alittle side ways. I straightened it and put a new one back in. Ran great for a few days. By acting up i mean it is hard to shift and makes a funny vibration when moving, with the clutch pulled in. It worked fine after I fixed and replaced the bearing. Whats allowing the bearing to shift side ways is my problem.
