Just got an email from Rocket Factory in Sparks, NV. They are donating 3 dyno runs to the Friends of Sand Mountain Silent Auction. Sounds like it is time to see for sure whose thumper has the most HP....

Jeffinrivercity also donated a few fuel jugs and got TMS to do the same! Thanks Jeff.

The Silent Auction will be our best opportunity to raise funds in preparation for legal action. The Center fo Biological Diversity (CBD) is gearing up and will most likely file a complaint/lawsuit in regards to BLM's decision not to close 1,000 acres of Sand Mountain to OHV's. In addition, they will most likely file a petition with the USFWS to have the Sand Mountain Blue Butterfly listed as endangered. If either of these actions is successful, you can be sure that our riding area will shrink considerably.
