I have a 2003 Ford F-250 Lariott Off Road Edition (upgraded to F-350) 7.3 Turbo Diesel 4X4.

- Diablo Sport 4 Bank Performance Chip (with tow and race performance programs)
- K&N Filter
- Pillar mount Pyro and Boost gauges by Autometer
- Firestone heavy duty air bag suspension system with on board pump
- BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A
- Stock towing capacity is 12,500 lbs

I've never seen a dually go very far on the sand. Each narrow tire seems to dig fast. However, they are very good to tow with.

The new Chevy's really have a lot of cool bells and whistles. The motorized mirrors tilt down automattically when you put it in reverse! They also fold in with the touch of a button when you park it in the garage. I dont care for the front headlights.

Right now I drive a Ford F-150 extended cab. Hopefully I will be upgrading to the F-250 power stroke crew cab or the Chevy duramax diesel crew cab soon.

When you move up to the 250/350 Ford Frame, you'll be impressed how stout it is under load. My 150 always pulled good with the 5.4, but the frame was weak and tended to tweak a little under load and around corners - kinda spooky! Also check the new Ford 6.0 diesel, it is supposed to have more power and torque stock for stock than the 7.3. The Chevy does have more 'old man' features by the way. Its got a pretty cool dual climate control with thermostat. However my F-250 has adjustable driver pedals! The Ford Off Road 4X4 edition has a 2" lift over stock, and includes Rancho shocks!

New Chevy HD's also have a stock towing capacity of 15500 lbs... I actually like the '03's lights better than my '02....along with some nostrils (nice hood scoops) and some chrome, they look scary

Ouch! My wife drives the Chevy

I bought the Dodge because the fit and finish is between a Ford and Chevy. I really liked the Duramax, but the dealers in Vegas are way to proud of them.

Just my opinion, but I would stick with your '02, the new front ends just look funny.
