Default banshee or baja?

There's nothing like going to the races and seeing drag banshees turn 3.5's through the 100 yards. Wait... come to thnk of it, i've never seen a ds get into the 4's.

Its amazing how an honest question can start a pi$$ing contest. I see you have kept your head down
and avoided it, It could have turned out a lot worse you could have went on the yamaha forum and asked the same question but about a honda instead of a DS, it would have ended up about 10 pages long. LOL

I'll say this for the Banshee boys, they are devoted. My 03 DS which my son rides has a modded end cap and a KN thats all, he has raced a lot of banshees, a lot did have pipes and jets and filters if they werent ported they lost 95% of the time, even the ones with mild porting usually had a difficult time beating him. Not impossible for a merely piped and jetted shee to beat a DS just unlikely.

we had a stock 01 raptor with the baffle taken out that outran 100% of the stock ds's that it raced, and 99% of the piped and jetted ones. It also outran every piped raptor that it ever went up against too though. Man did that bike **** alot of people off. It Had plenty of banshees for lunch as well.

5.99, 6.01, and 6.03 at Atoka Motorsports Park... baffle taken out of the pipe, no airbox mods, no re-jetting, stock gearing, super unleaded gas lmfao. running 20x10x10 8 paddle sand devils. it was accused of having stuff done the entire time we had it, but in all honesty that's what it had done.

I have a stock bore 350shee not stroked, piped and ported with stock carbs that runs 4.99 The only ds650 with better times than that without nos & turbo is Eric that I know of.
