called trinity yesterday, and they said they have the 720 big bore kit complete on a bike, but they are going to be doing more testing and tuning and release it in about a month. forgot to ask them about the prices but the raptor 727 is $2400 and considering everyone seems to charge more for bomb parts i would guess somewhere around the $2500 range. i've seen the rappy 727 bike run a few times and it seems like are a pretty fast, reliable bike, so anyone have any opinion on this big bore for the bomb?

How the hell can they ask $2400.00 for a cylinder and a piston kit? Does this price include installation and bigger valves and porting and Camshafts? You take your life into your own hands when you run something from Trinity. Beware.

punisher, here is some info from trinity's site, and yes this includes complete installation and is approx $400 less if you already have the pipe

What we can tell you about the 727 is that you get the world famous Stage IV pipe, The Big Bore 11:1 105mm Piston and Sleeve, tuned Cam and Valve Springs, the patented Pro-Port and Valve Job to your cylinder head with the chamber mod . All sealed up with a complete T.I.A , and Trinity's Super-tough Gaskets

Sounds like a torquey motor. But I would say they are making 1000 on labor/profit.

May be worth it to some people.

do you have to split the cases on a DS to do a 720? you do on a Yam 727.
