you have all those snowmobiles and no race gas there freaks about that stuff for there rides around here. oh and you don't have to spend that much for just a 720 i think the piston cylinder and gaskets stay bolts things that fit, bolt it together for a grand, you can go base and get into things from there , you will want to up grade a lot of stuff, but i would start there and add a carb, and cams. after riding the 760 i really like the 720, i can see a area or to that the 760 is better but you will have to ponie up some major cash for the extra, and that 720 will really make you smile i think for desert racing it might be the best choice, with the race head that thing really flys on the top, i always feel like i can catch any machine given enough ground, seems like after 400 feet it starts to really charge hard. bigslim and i were out racing banshees and they would blast me out of the hole but from 300' on they were mine, guess i need to change some things, or start in first gear.

Forget TVI's kit. You have to send your head to them so they can match it to there piston. According to gary he said it isn't a bolt in kit. Unless he does all the work he won't touch it. That helps him to keep his quality control specs up.

lilnotts- you can always throw the 12.5:1 piston on the mill, knock .125" or so off the center rise and drop the compression to about 11:1- no big deal and you keep your pump gas.

i'm not sure i knew that, i do know if you want high compression you will have to have the head cut, but if i remember right it was a 100 or 150 for that, so worse case 1200 for a very basic 720. but for a guy with cams and a carb this is a pretty neat way to go. i think my 45 works better on the 720 than the 650, again just seat of the pants, but with the 109's i really like how the 720 rev and pulls. got to get that extended swingarm. with the basic and a shot of nos it would be a very fast machine. hey tony are you running sams cams, from the dyno chart, looks like there power drop fast at 7000, i know mine with the 109 are hitting 8500 to 9000 i know i may go past peak but there still a lot on the other side.

majorecho - that could be an idea, i could probably get that done pretty easily, that wouldn't be a problem, but i'd wanna know exactly how much to take off
so if i wanna go from wat i have no with vortex cdi and either tm45 or lectron 46hv, how much would it be? wat comes wit it? and who would you go with?
also, can you do wheelies in 5th wit stock swingarm?
