i have the 109's in my 720 and they work good, i see 9000 a lot and the bottom end is good i can roll on the throttle and the front lifts no problem, actually i can dune with the kids and never notice problems at the bottom. seems the sam coe 720 takes some dailing to get it to work, which i don't understand since there isn't any stroke work needed. that means the piston deck height is to tall if you are having to put more than one base gasket to keep things from hitting. which means i would want a different piston, or you can mod the head. the bores are not that hard to get right.

I am not sure why but the piston he uses is about .010 to tall for some reason. Basically you can use 2 base gaskets which isn't that much and you will be just fine. The problem is that we found that Rotax didn't square the base of the case correctly were the cylinder attaches. If you notice the exhaust side of your piston is higher in the hole than the intake side. This is what has been causing a major problem with Sam's kits and since he has his piston made the way he does that exhaust side is what had been hitting the head and causing Head gasket leaks. Also we have found that the Rod stretches about .010 at high R.P.M.'s Or more like when you accidentally over rev. That is why I think everyone should get a rev limiter with about a 9500 rpm limit. No One is making usable power after 9500 rpm and I don't care what anyone on this forum say's, you don't!! If you can, than prove it to me on some Dyno sheets. If you want to go with Sam's kit just do the kit yourself. Send him your cylinder so he can install the sleeve because he is the only one who can seem to do it correctly. Ask Him for the L.A.Sleeve version though. For some reason the Advanced sleeve version seems to be a little to small, and can lead to potential head gasket leaks. You must also use either Pliobond or Yamabond on the head gasket when installing. The 109 grind cams are awesome for all around power, if all you are going to do is drag race on the flats step up to the RWR Race 2 cams. But the best all around cams seem to be the 109, also I think the Axtell A1/A2 cams would be awesome also. I would really like to try a pair out. The kit is really easy to install and if you have any questions you could call me up and ask me. I hop this helps in your decision. Good Luck

well i added up all the prices there and it comes to 2980.45, now i know i could put a 45 or a different carb which would drop the price a few hundred,

all i'd want is stock valve size, tm45 of 46hv carb, 720 kit, i don't need oversized valves and dual carbs, don't need that much power, i'm already beatin the raps around here, don't need 2 smoke them that bad
also, its very hard to get race gas around here, and usually the highest octane i can get is 91, would that be ok wit 11
